Yes. I have a selection of basic props that can be provided at no extra cost.

However, I usually encourage clients to prepare any specific props they particularly like or that fit their restaurant or brand. This helps make the photographs feel more relevant and unique to the business.

If suitable props aren’t available, we can often use ingredients from the dishes themselves — such as spices, herbs or fresh raw ingredients — to create a natural setting.

With over 15 years of experience in food photography, I’ll guide you through the whole process, from preparation to the shoot itself, making everything as easy and smooth as possible.

I bring a complete professional flash lighting setup and control the lighting for the shoot, so we can create consistent results regardless of the available light at your location.

Can you shoot at my restaurant or location?

Yes. I can set up and photograph at your restaurant or another suitable location, provided there is enough working space for the photography setup.

We can discuss the location and practical requirements before the shoot.

How much space do you need for the photography setup?

A minimum clear space of 10 ft × 10 ft is required for the photography setup. An air-conditioned space is also needed.

More space is always better. A larger working area gives me greater flexibility with camera position, lighting and the overall setup, which can help achieve better photographic results.

Every shoot is different. Simpler setups can produce more photos, while more detailed food styling and complex shots naturally take more time.

My aim is always to get as many useful, high-quality photographs as possible within your budget — without rushing the quality.

If I already have some existing food photos, can you shoot new photos in a similar style?

Yes. You can send me your existing photographs as references before the shoot.

I can work towards a similar overall look — including the lighting, camera angle, composition, colour, background and styling — so the new photographs can fit more naturally with your existing collection.
